Why this automation is useful#
Inbound requests come from prospects, candidates, partners, and spam. The good ones deserve a fast accept because speed starts conversations.
Accepting requests one by one in the LinkedIn interface breaks your flow. This automation accepts the request for a given profile URL. The CSV logs the invitation ID and type for your records.
After you accept, the person becomes a first-degree connection. You can now message them without InMail credits.
Use cases#
- Answer inbound demand fast as a founder. Accept requests from ICP-fit profiles the same day they arrive. Send a short welcome message right after you accept.
- Accept warm prospect requests as a sales rep. A prospect who invites you is warm. Accept fast and reply to their note within a day.
- Moderate client accounts as an agency. Review pending requests on each managed account. Accept on-target profiles and decline the rest. Log every decision in the CSV.
- Convert profile viewers as a freelancer. People who invite you after seeing your work are leads. Accept their request and ask what they are working on.
How to use it#
- Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
- Open LinkedIn Auto Accept Pending Connection in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter the profile URL of the person whose request you want to accept.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
The automation works on incoming requests only. If the profile sent no request, there is nothing to accept.
Limits and limitations#
- TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day for this automation.
- The profile must have a live incoming invitation to your account.
- LinkedIn notifies the sender when you accept a request.
- The automation uses your active LinkedIn session.
FAQ#
Q: How many requests can I accept per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day for this automation.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed normal activity levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough for this automation.
Q: Does the automation dedupe repeated runs? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Does the sender get notified when I accept? A: Yes. LinkedIn tells the sender that you accepted the invitation.
Q: What happens if the profile has no pending request? A: The automation needs a live incoming request from that profile. If none exists, the run does not accept anything.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.
The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
