Why this automation is useful#
The right outreach channel depends on the relationship. First-degree connections accept direct messages for free. Other profiles need a connection request or InMail first. Checking profiles one by one in the browser does not scale past a short list.
This automation returns the relationship facts for one profile per run. The Connected column answers the core question with YES or NO. The Invitation State column shows pending sent or received invitations.
The export also detects special cases before they break a campaign. Some profiles require an email address to connect. Others require a relationship form. Knowing this upfront saves failed invitation attempts.
Use cases#
- Split a prospect list before outreach. Check each profile on your list. Message the first-degree connections directly. Send connection requests to the rest. Match the channel to the relationship and protect your acceptance rate.
- Verify pending invitations before a follow-up. Invitation State shows sent or received invitations. Withdraw old sent invitations or wait based on the result. Keep your pending invitation count under control.
- Check invite requirements before a connection campaign. Some profiles require an email address to connect. Others require a relationship form. Plan your invitation strategy per segment instead of failing at scale.
- Audit network coverage for agency clients. Check the client target account list against the client network. Report how many targets are already connected. Show the gap the campaign must close.
- Confirm a warm lead accepted before pitching. Freelancers can check the profile after sending an invite. If Connected shows YES, send the pitch message. If not, wait or engage with their content first.

FAQ#
Q: How many profiles can I check per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day. Each execution checks one profile URL.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed the platform limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits to reduce risk.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. You must connect it with the TexAu browser extension.
Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: What does Invitation State show? A: It shows a pending invitation between you and the profile. The value indicates a sent or received invitation. An empty value means no pending invitation.
Q: Does the other person get notified when I check? A: A profile visit can appear in the other person's Who Viewed Your Profile section. Your LinkedIn privacy settings control this visibility.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.
The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
