The export also includes profile images, banner URLs, and default profile flags. Relationship flags cover follow, block, and mute status. Account flags cover protected, sensitive, state affiliated, NFT avatar, and translator status. The export also includes professional account details, Super Follow flags, auto block flags, notification and retweet flags, and the pinned tweet URL. The can tag media and custom timelines flags are included as well.

This table lists the main outputs. A real run returns more columns, about 48 in total. For example: "Websites" and "Location".

Why this automation is useful#

Manual profile research does not scale. Checking 100 profiles by hand takes hours. This automation reads each profile and writes structured fields to a CSV. You filter and sort the data in any spreadsheet.

The fields support targeting decisions. The DM Open flag shows who accepts messages. The Email column shows addresses published in bios. Follower and tweet counts show reach and activity.

Use cases#

  1. Enrich a prospect list. Scrape 100 prospect profile URLs. Filter by DM Open and Followers Count. Load the qualified rows into your cold email tool.
  2. Influencer shortlist for agencies. Scrape 200 creator profiles. Compare follower counts, tweet counts, and bio links. Pitch the top 20 with a campaign offer.
  3. Competitor benchmarking. Scrape 10 competitor profiles every month. Track Followers Count changes in a spreadsheet. Adjust your content plan when a competitor grows fast.
  4. Harvest published contact data. Scrape profiles of agencies in your niche. Pull the Email and Website URL columns from bios. Send pitch emails to the published addresses.
  5. Client KPI reporting. Scrape each client profile at month end. Log followers, listed count, and tweet count. Build the report from the CSVs.
  6. Vet accounts before a deal. Scrape a partner candidate before a collaboration. Check account age, verification status, and activity counts. Avoid deals with inactive accounts.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your X (Twitter) account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Twitter Profile Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the Twitter Profile URL. Sample: https://x.com/username/.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run. Run a batch of profile URLs in one launch to save time.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 760 executions per day and 380 executions per hour for this automation.
  • A connected X (Twitter) session is required.
  • Only public data is available. Protected profiles return limited fields.
  • The Email column contains addresses the owner published in the bio. Profiles without a published email return an empty field.
  • Profile data changes over time. Re-scrape profiles for fresh numbers.

FAQ#

Q: How many profiles can I scrape per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 760 executions per day and 380 executions per hour.

Q: Can X (Twitter) restrict my account for scraping? A: Yes, if you exceed limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What account do I need? A: A free X (Twitter) account is enough. No paid subscription is required.

Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Does the export contain private data? A: No. The automation reads public profile data only. Protected profiles return limited fields.

Q: Why is the Email column empty for some profiles? A: The column shows addresses published in the bio text. Profiles without a published email return an empty field.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
