Why this automation is useful#

Account research takes minutes per company when done by hand. This automation reads the full account page in one run. You get headcount, growth over 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, revenue, and the HQ address.

The growth percentages are a prioritization signal. A company that grows fast hires and buys more. Sort the CSV by Growth % 1Y to rank your target accounts.

The search URL columns are reusable. The Employees Search URL and the Decision Makers Search URL open pre-filtered people searches. Feed them into a lead search export to get the people behind each account.

Use cases#

  1. Enrich a client target account list. Agencies can run the scraper on every account in a client list. Add headcount, growth, and revenue columns to the client file. Score the accounts and pitch the strongest segment first.
  2. Prepare account research before sales calls. Sales reps can scrape each account before a discovery call. The specialties and the about text feed the talk track. The headcount trend frames the growth conversation.
  3. Plan territories with HQ data. RevOps teams can group accounts by HQ country, state, and city. Assign territories on real locations. Balance the headcount ranges across reps.
  4. Qualify accounts by size before pitching. Freelancers can filter out companies under a headcount threshold. A one-person consultancy sells better to companies with 50 to 500 employees. The CSV makes the filter a one-minute job.
  5. Vet partners and vendors. Business owners can check the year founded, the company type, and the revenue figure. Numbers on the page beat a glossy sales deck.
  6. Pull the people behind each account. Take the Employees Search URL from the CSV. Run it through a lead search export. You get the employee list of every account without a manual search.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Sales Navigator Account Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the Sales Navigator company page URL. Copy it from the address bar of the account page.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation.
  • You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. A free LinkedIn account is not enough.
  • The automation reads data visible to your account. Private account data is not available.
  • Revenue values are LinkedIn estimates. They are not verified financial data.
  • LinkedIn can change its page structure. A run can fail after such a platform change.

FAQ#

Q: How many accounts can I scrape per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation. One execution scrapes one account.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed normal usage limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What subscription do I need? A: You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. The account data comes from the Sales Navigator company page.

Q: Where does the revenue figure come from? A: It is the estimate shown on the Sales Navigator account page. It is not verified financial data.

Q: What is the Decision Makers Search column? A: It is a Sales Navigator search URL that lists decision makers at the account. Open it in a browser or feed it into a lead search export.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
