Why this automation is useful#
Manual contact research is slow. You open each site, find the contact page, and copy addresses by hand. This automation reads the pages and writes emails, phones, and social links to a CSV.
The phone fields include the country and a YES/NO validity flag. Sales teams filter out bad numbers before a call block.
The Markdown Output field keeps the extracted page content. You review what the automation found without opening the site again.
No account connection is needed. The automation reads public pages from your own computer.
Use cases#
- Find contact emails from prospect domains at scale. Start with a list of target company domains. Run the automation on each domain and collect the Email field. Load the CSV into your cold email tool and track the reply rate per segment.
- Pull social profiles from company sites for multi-channel outreach. The export includes LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Linktree links. Follow the prospect company page before your email lands. Warm touches convert better than cold-only sequences.
- Build a direct-dial list for sales calls. Filter the CSV by the Is Valid Phone field. Keep rows marked YES and sort by Phone Country. Hand the clean list to your sales development reps for call blocks.
- Do agency pitch research before a sales call. Run the automation on the prospect website. Review every social channel the company runs. Reference the weak channels in your pitch and name the fix you will deliver.
- Mine a niche directory for freelance leads. Collect company URLs from an industry directory. Run each URL through the automation. You get a contact sheet of emails and social links for your outreach sequence.
- Enrich CRM accounts with public contact data. Match your account list to company domains. Append the emails, phones, and social URLs to your CRM records. Route valid contacts into the right sequence.
How to use it#
- Open Website Email And Social Links Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter the website URL. Sample value: texau.com.
- If you enter a main page URL, set the crawl depth to follow linked pages.
- If you enter a sub-page URL, leave the crawl depth as is. The scan covers only that page.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
No account connection is needed. The automation reads public web pages from your computer. Crawl depth controls how far the automation follows links from a main page URL. A sub-page URL always scans as a single page.
Limits and limitations#
- TexAu sets a default limit of 10000 executions per day for this automation.
- Crawl depth applies only to a main page URL. A sub-page URL crawls only that page.
- If a site blocks crawlers or loads slowly, the run returns fewer fields.
- The automation reads public pages only. Data behind a login is not available.
- Some sites hide contact data from crawlers. Empty fields reflect the page itself.
FAQ#
Q: How many runs can I do per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 10000 executions per day for this automation.
Q: Do I need to connect an account or buy a subscription? A: No. The automation reads public websites. No platform account or paid subscription is needed.
Q: Can a website block the automation? A: Yes. Some sites block crawlers or respond slowly. If that happens, the run returns fewer fields. Re-run the URL later or open the site in your browser to check access.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for normal use. A proxy helps when you crawl many sites that block crawlers.
Q: What does crawl depth mean? A: Crawl depth controls how far the automation follows links from a main page URL. If you enter a sub-page URL, the automation crawls only that one page.
Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Troubleshooting#
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
Some fields are empty in the CSV. The source page does not publish every field for every result. The automation returns the fields that the page shows.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The website blocked the crawl or answered slowly. Run the automation again, or try the main page URL.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
