Why this automation is useful#

LinkedIn keeps your saved and applied jobs behind several clicks. There is no export option. This automation writes the full list to a CSV in one run.

The CSV includes the job title, company, location, job URL, and the application URL on the company website. The category column marks each row as Saved, Archived, or Applied.

A structured job list supports two different plays. Job seekers get a pipeline tracker. Salespeople and freelancers get a list of companies with proven hiring intent.

Use cases#

  1. Turn saved jobs into a job-search tracker. Export your saved jobs to a CSV. Add status and follow-up columns in your spreadsheet. Track every application in one place.
  2. Follow up on applications. Export in Applied Jobs mode. When an application is a week old, message the hiring company or a recruiter at that company.
  3. Treat job ads as freelance leads. Freelancers can save ads that match their skills and export them. Pitch the company directly instead of applying through the form.
  4. Build a hiring-company list for staffing outreach. Recruiters can save ads in their niche and export them. Pitch recruitment services to companies with live open roles.
  5. Study hiring demand in a market. Export archived ads over time. Count open roles per company to see which companies grow and what skills they buy.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Saved Jobs Export in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Select the mode: Applied Jobs, Archived Jobs, or Saved Jobs.
  4. Set the extract limit. The maximum is 1000 jobs per launch.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active LinkedIn session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply.
  • Maximum 1000 jobs per launch.
  • The automation exports only the saved, archived, and applied jobs of the connected account.
  • Job ads removed by the employer can show incomplete fields.

FAQ#

Q: How many jobs can I export per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Each launch extracts a maximum of 1000 jobs. Your LinkedIn account rate limits still apply.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed normal usage limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits to protect your account.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: Do I need a paid LinkedIn subscription? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Does the automation export jobs I applied to? A: Yes. Select the Applied Jobs mode before the run.

Q: Can I export another person's saved jobs? A: No. The automation reads only the saved, archived, and applied jobs of the connected account.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
