What the TexAu Desktop deal includes, and what it does not
The AppSumo deal is for the TexAu Desktop app. Every tier gets the same features. The tiers differ only in machines, concurrent runs and monthly runtime. Read Your AppSumo plan for the numbers.
Included in every tier#
- The TexAu Desktop app, for life. Your license gets an expiry date about 100 years after you redeem.
- Unlimited connected accounts. The license does not limit the number of LinkedIn, X or Slack accounts you connect.
- Proxies. Add your own HTTP or HTTPS proxies. You can save up to 50. Read Add and use a proxy.
- The automation library. Every tier gets every automation. The Automation guides page has a guide for each one. The library has 150+ automations.
- A closed Discord community. Find the invite link in your license key email.
- Lifetime desktop app updates and access to all new desktop features.

Add-on: proxy bandwidth#
The deal does not include proxy bandwidth. You can use your own proxies, or buy the proxy bandwidth add-on on AppSumo as a one-time purchase on any tier.

- You buy in steps of 10 GB, up to 5 units (50 GB).
- After you buy it on AppSumo, email support@texau.com with your invoice. We add the bandwidth to your account.
- The add-on is non-refundable.
Some automations, like Google search, work better through a proxy, so the requests do not come from your own IP address.
If you bought TexAu before this deal#
If you bought an earlier TexAu lifetime deal, your limits were already doubled from what you purchased, and you have access to TexAu V3. Buyers of this deal do not get TexAu V3.

Does TexAu Desktop provide a public API and how is it authenticated? No. TexAu Desktop is a desktop app and has no public API, so there is nothing to authenticate. Each run saves a CSV file that you can import into other tools.
What is add-on Proxy Bandwidth? Some automations, like Google search, work better through a proxy, so the requests do not come from your own IP address. How many accounts can I connect? As many as you like. The license does not limit connected accounts. Each account runs one automation at a time.
Can I stack codes? No. One AppSumo purchase gives you one tier. To move to a higher tier, upgrade on AppSumo.
Can I get a refund? Refunds for the base plan go through AppSumo only, within AppSumo's 60-day window. After a refund, every key from that purchase stops working. The proxy bandwidth add-on is non-refundable. Read Refunds and what happens to your license.
Does the deal include TexAu V3, the cloud app or an API? No. The deal is for TexAu Desktop only. It does not include TexAu V3, the TexAu cloud app, an API or any other TexAu product.
Can my team share one plan? Yes, with one key per computer. Each teammate activates the app on their own computer with their own key. Tiers 1 and 2 include 1 key, Tier 3 includes 3, Tier 4 includes 5 and Tier 5 includes 10. Each key gets the full concurrent runs and monthly runtime of your tier. There are no sub-accounts or shared workspaces.
