Why this automation is useful#
LinkedIn events concentrate buyers around a topic. The event page holds the schedule, the organizer, the speakers, and the streaming link. Copying these details by hand into a research sheet does not scale across many events.
This automation reads one event URL and returns the full record in a CSV row. Speaker names, headlines, and profile URLs arrive as comma-separated lists. The organizer company, the timezone, and the broadcast tool are included.
The data supports event research, speaker outreach, and webinar planning. Compare events across your niche without opening each page. Build outreach lists from the people who run relevant events.
Use cases#
- Build a speaker and organizer prospect list. Export events in your niche. The CSV includes speaker names, headlines, and profile URLs. Pitch sponsorships, services, or partnerships to the people who run relevant events.
- Run competitive event intelligence. Export competitor webinars. Compare topics, start times, ticket prices, and broadcast tools. Schedule your events where the competition is absent.
- Benchmark before you plan your own webinar. Export the top events in your category. Read their descriptions and streaming setups. Model the format that attracts your audience.
- Qualify events for agency clients. Compile the event landscape in the client market. Filter paid versus free events and lead form usage. Recommend where the client sponsors or speaks.
- Prepare pre-event outreach. Export the event details before you contact speakers or the organizer. Reference the event name and time in your messages. Specific references earn higher reply rates than generic pitches.
How to use it#
- Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
- Open LinkedIn Event Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Paste the full event page URL into LinkedIn Event Page URL.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
The automation reads one event per run. Use one run per event URL. Speaker fields arrive as comma-separated lists in single cells.
Limits and limitations#
- This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply.
- The automation reads one event per run. Use one run per event URL.
- Private events are not available unless your account has access.
- The export contains event and speaker details. It does not contain the attendee list.
- Speaker profile fields arrive as comma-separated lists. Split them in your spreadsheet tool if you need one row per speaker.
FAQ#
Q: How many events can I scrape per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply. Each run processes one event URL.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed the platform limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to reasonable volumes to reduce risk.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. You must connect it with the TexAu browser extension.
Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Does it export the attendee list? A: No. The export contains the event details and the speaker profiles. The attendee list is not part of the output.
Q: Can I see if an event charges admission? A: Yes. The Paid Event column shows YES or NO. The Ticket Price column holds the price for paid events.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.
The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
