Why this automation is useful#

Sending connection requests one by one is slow. This automation sends the invitation from your Sales Navigator session. It also logs the invitation ID and the send date.

The CSV gives you a record of every invitation. You can match it against accepted connections later. This keeps multi-step sequences organized.

Use cases#

  1. Connect with decision makers from a lead search. Sales teams can export a Sales Navigator lead search first. Then send an invitation to each profile URL. Follow up with a message after acceptance.
  2. Run connect campaigns for agency clients. Agencies can run one batch per client per day. The default limit of 50 executions keeps each client account inside a safe volume. The CSV documents every send.
  3. Warm up a network before a launch. Business owners can connect with ideal prospects for several weeks before a launch. Accepted connections see the launch posts in their feed. Organic reach grows before the announcement.
  4. Connect softly as a freelancer. Freelancers can send invitations without a pitch in the note. Share a useful post after the person accepts. Start the sales conversation in the second message.
  5. Pace invitations across a week. SDR teams can split a large prospect list into daily batches of 50. Steady pacing looks natural to LinkedIn. The team works the accepts every morning.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Sales Navigator Auto Connect in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the LinkedIn profile page URL of the person to connect with.
  4. If you want a note with the invitation, write it in the Invitation Message Content field.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • The action happens under your name and is visible to others. Review the inputs before you run the automation.
  • TexAu sets a default limit of 50 executions per day for this automation.
  • You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. A free LinkedIn account is not enough.
  • LinkedIn limits invitation volume. Exceeding the default limit raises the restriction risk.
  • LinkedIn does not accept a second invitation while one is pending for the same profile.
  • The automation uses your active session. Heavy browser use on the same account can disturb a run.

FAQ#

Q: How many invitations can I send per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 50 executions per day for this automation. One execution sends one invitation.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed normal usage limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What subscription do I need? A: You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. The automation sends invitations from your Sales Navigator session.

Q: Can I send an invitation without a note? A: Yes. The Invitation Message Content input is optional. Leave it empty to send a plain invitation.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. LinkedIn also refuses a second invitation while one is pending.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: What happens after the person accepts? A: The invitation moves to your connections. Follow up with a message. Sales Navigator Auto Message can send it.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.

The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
