Why this automation is useful#
Reactions tell the LinkedIn algorithm that a post matters. Early reactions help a post reach more of the author's network.
Liking posts by hand across a target list takes daily attention. This automation adds the reaction and logs the result for each post URL.
The Randomize option varies the reaction type across posts. Varied reactions look like natural human activity.
Use cases#
- Warm up prospects before outreach. Like a prospect's two most recent posts the day before you invite them. Your name appears in their notifications before your invitation arrives.
- Give a launch post early engagement. Have each teammate react to the company announcement in the first hour. Early reactions push the post into more feeds.
- Run engagement support as an agency service. React to each client's new posts from approved accounts. Log the Success column per post as proof of work in the client report.
- Stay visible to past clients as a freelancer. React to posts from past clients and target companies each week. Consistent reactions keep your name familiar between projects.
- Support a co-marketing partner. React to your partner's launch posts. Your profile appears in the reactors list that their audience sees.

Limits and limitations#

FAQ#
Q: How many posts can I like per day? A: The built-in limit is 10 executions per hour. TexAu enforces the limit automatically.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for auto liking? A: Yes, if you exceed normal activity levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough for this automation.
Q: Does the automation dedupe repeated runs? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: What reaction types are available? A: The choices include Randomize, Like, Love, Clap, and Curious. Randomize picks a reaction at random.
Q: Can the post author see my reaction? A: Yes. LinkedIn notifies the author and shows your name in the reactors list.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.
The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
