Why this automation is useful#

Account lists are the base of account-based selling on Sales Navigator. Creating lists by hand is slow when you manage many clients or segments. This automation creates the list in one run and logs its URL.

The List URL output feeds directly into Sales Navigator Account List Builder. You create the empty list here. You add companies to it in bulk afterwards.

Use cases#

  1. Separate target accounts per client. Agencies can create one account list per client, for example "Acme - Q4 Target Accounts". Each client's outreach stays in its own list. Reporting per client stays clean.
  2. Prepare lists before a prospecting sprint. Sales teams can create one list per territory or vertical. Reps fill each list with companies after the sprint planning. Managers track coverage per list.
  3. Build a Dream 100 account list. Business owners can create a list of ideal customer companies. Add accounts every week. Watch the buyer intent signals on Sales Navigator.
  4. Spin up one list per niche. Freelancers can create a list per niche they serve. A new service offer gets a fresh list the same day. Filling the list starts right after.
  5. Pair list creation with list filling. Create the list with this automation. Take the List URL from the CSV. Paste it into Sales Navigator Account List Builder to add companies in bulk.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Sales Navigator Account List Creator in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the list name and the list description. The name appears in your Sales Navigator custom lists.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active Sales Navigator session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation.
  • You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. A free LinkedIn account is not enough.
  • The automation uses your active session. Heavy browser use on the same account can disturb a run.
  • LinkedIn can change its page structure. A run can fail after such a platform change.

FAQ#

Q: How many lists can I create per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation. One execution creates one list.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed normal usage limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What subscription do I need? A: You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. The automation saves lists inside your Sales Navigator account.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Do not re-run the same list name to keep your CSVs clean.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can this automation add companies to the list? A: No. This automation creates an empty list. Use Sales Navigator Account List Builder to add companies to it.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.

The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
