Company identifiers cover the company public URL, company public ID, Sales Navigator company URL, company ID, and company logo. Status flags cover viewed, saved, listed, reposted, job state, onsite apply, starters allowed, and a text version of Easy Apply. Your own application data covers the applied flag and the application date. Location details add the city and country code. Date fields add the listing date, posted-on text, and original creation date. The Remote Allowed field marks remote or hybrid roles. The export also includes connections profile IDs, connections profile public URLs, the shared connections search URL, the poster member URN, and the similar jobs URL.
This table lists the main outputs. A real run returns more columns, about 60 in total. For example: "Salary Description" and "Location Area".
Why this automation is useful#
LinkedIn job search results spread across many pages. This automation extracts up to 1000 job listings from one search into a CSV file.
The CSV contains the job title, company, location, salary description, and application link for each listing. It also contains the applicants count and the listed date. You can sort for fresh listings with low competition.
Each row contains the names and profile URLs of your mutual connections at the hiring company. A warm intro path sits next to every listing.
Use cases#
- Apply to fresh listings before the crowd. Run the export daily with your role and city filters in the search URL. Sort by Listed Date and filter for a low Applicants Count. Apply the same day through the Job URL or the Company Apply URL.
- Fill a recruiting mandate fast. Export listings that match your candidate profile. Group by company to find clients with repeated openings. Pitch your candidates to companies that already hire for the role.
- Sell to companies that are hiring. A company hiring for a role has budget and a pain point. Export listings for the role your product serves. Pitch the hiring company while the role is open.
- Use mutual connections for warm intros. The export lists your connections at each hiring company. Ask the connection for a referral before you apply. A referral moves your application to the top of the pile.
- Track a competitor's growth. Export a competitor's open roles each month. Count listings per department. The pattern shows where the competitor invests.
- Build a personal job pipeline as a freelancer. Export contract and freelance listings with the keyword input. Filter for Easy Apply = YES and a remote workplace type. Work the list every morning.
How to use it#
- Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
- Open LinkedIn Job Search Export in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter a keyword or paste a LinkedIn job search URL. For precise results, apply filters on LinkedIn first and copy the URL from your browser.
- Set the extract limit. The maximum is 1000 jobs per search.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
The automation uses your active LinkedIn session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run.
Limits and limitations#
- TexAu sets a default limit of 80 executions per day for this automation.
- Maximum 1000 job listings per search per run.
- Salary and benefits fields stay empty when the poster did not provide them.
- The automation requires an active LinkedIn session connected through the TexAu browser extension.
FAQ#
Q: How many exports can I run per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 80 executions per day. Each execution extracts up to 1000 listings per search.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed the platform rate limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. Sales Navigator is not required for this automation.
Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Does this automation apply to jobs for me? A: No. It only extracts listings. You apply through the Job URL or the Company Apply URL in the CSV.
Q: Can I filter for remote jobs? A: Yes. Apply the remote filter on LinkedIn and paste the search URL. The Remote Info and Workplace Type columns also show the work model.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.
The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
