Why this automation is useful#
Likes are the lightest engagement action. Each like sends a notification to the author. Manual liking across hundreds of URLs is slow. This automation processes the list and logs the result per URL.
Likes also support community management. Liking customer posts rewards public praise. The action costs little and keeps the relationship warm.
Use cases#
- Like prospect posts a week before the message. Like two or three recent posts of each prospect. Do this one week before your message. The notifications make your name familiar to the prospect.
- Support your branded hashtag. Collect posts under your branded hashtag. Like every post from the brand account. Customers see that you notice them.
- Client community management. Like fan posts on behalf of a client from a URL list. Log every action in the CSV. Attach the log to the client report.
- Event engagement. Like posts from a conference hashtag before the event. Attendees notice your account early. Start conversations with a warm profile.
- Testimonial appreciation. Like every post that recommends your product. Public praise deserves a public reaction.
- Partner support. Like posts from integration and reselling partners. Keep the partnership visible without writing content.
How to use it#
- Connect your X (Twitter) account with the TexAu browser extension.
- Open Twitter Auto Like in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter the Twitter Post URL. Use the full status URL, for example https://x.com/username/status/123456789.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
The automation uses your active session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run. Check the Success column for each processed URL.
Limits and limitations#
- TexAu sets a default limit of 4000 executions per day and 2000 executions per hour for this automation.
- A connected X (Twitter) session is required.
- X (Twitter) does not register a second like on the same post.
- Liking still counts as platform activity. Keep to the default limits on new accounts.
FAQ#
Q: How many posts can I like per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 4000 executions per day and 2000 executions per hour.
Q: Can X (Twitter) restrict my account for auto liking? A: Yes, if you exceed limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What account do I need? A: A free X (Twitter) account is enough. No paid subscription is required.
Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Is auto liking safer than other actions? A: Likes are low-risk actions, but limits still apply. Exceeding limits can trigger restrictions. Keep to the defaults.
Q: Can I remove a like with this automation? A: No. Open the post on X (Twitter) and remove the like manually.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.
The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
