Why this automation is useful#
Sending invitations by hand means opening each profile. Then you press connect and write a note. Across a full prospect list, that is hours of repeated work every week.
This automation sends the invitation and optional note for you. The CSV records the profile details, the note text, and the invitation ID.
The Email Required output flags profiles that ask for an email address before connecting. Move these profiles to another channel, for example email or InMail.
Use cases#
- Run a daily outbound sprint as an SDR. Invite prospects from your target list each morning, up to the 80 per day default limit. Message new connections soon after they accept. Speed matters while your note is fresh.
- Follow up after events as a founder. Invite every person you met at a conference within two days. Name the event and your conversation in the invitation note.
- Build a candidate pipeline as a recruiter. Invite profiles that match an open role. Use the note to name the role and the hiring company.
- Sell connection campaigns as an agency. Run invitation campaigns per client ICP from each client's account. Export one CSV per client for the weekly report.
- Reach dream clients as a freelancer. Invite marketing leads at ten target companies each week. Send your portfolio only after they accept.
How to use it#
- Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
- Open LinkedIn Auto Connect in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter the profile URL. Add an invitation message or leave it empty.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
LinkedIn limits the length of invitation notes. Keep the message short and specific.
The automation uses your active session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run.

FAQ#
Q: How many invitations can I send per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 80 executions per day for this automation. LinkedIn also applies its own weekly quota.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for sending many invitations? A: Yes, if you exceed normal activity levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough for this automation.
Q: Does the automation dedupe repeated runs? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Can I invite someone without a note? A: Yes. Leave Invitation Message Content empty and the invitation goes out without a note.
Q: What happens when a profile requires an email to connect? A: LinkedIn blocks invitations to these profiles without their email address. The Email Required output shows YES. Reach these profiles through another channel.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.
The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
