Why this automation is useful#
LinkedIn headlines carry noise. People pack them with role stacks, separators, and search keywords.
The agent returns a standardized headline. A clean headline works as a personalization line in outreach. The raw headline often does not.
Run this agent on the CSV from a LinkedIn profile scraper run, before you load the list into an outreach tool. Your outreach tool then receives first lines that read like research.
Use cases#
- Turn scraped headlines into first-line personalization. A LinkedIn scrape gives you a headline column of raw text. Run the column through this agent before you build the campaign. Reference the clean headline in your first line. The line then reads like you visited the profile.
- Clean personalization snippets as a sales team. SDRs who personalize from headlines need consistent text. Put the agent between the profile scraper and the sequence tool. Every rep starts from the same clean field.
- Ship clean snippet columns as an agency. Run the agent on the CSV from the profile scraper. The client receives first lines with no manual cleanup.
- Standardize headline data as a freelancer. Clients scrape headlines in mixed formats. Pass every export through the agent before the campaign build. The sending tool then receives one consistent format.
- Prepare headlines for connection request notes. A note that quotes the headline must read cleanly. Clean the headline first. The note then references the role without scrape artifacts.
How to use it#
- Open Social Headline Cleaner in the TexAu Desktop app.
- Enter one headline in the LinkedIn Headline field.
- Run the automation.
- Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.
This agent needs no account connection. Run it on the CSV from a LinkedIn profile scraper run, before outreach. Map the scraped headline column to the LinkedIn Headline input.
Limits and limitations#
- TexAu sets a default limit of 10000 executions per day for this automation.
- The agent cleans one value per execution. Run it with a CSV to process a full column. The app runs the agent once per row.
- The agent cleans the text you enter. It does not fetch the profile from LinkedIn.
- The agent standardizes existing text. It does not write new headline copy.
FAQ#
Q: How many headlines can I clean per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 10000 executions per day for this automation. Each execution cleans one headline.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account when I use this agent? A: No. This agent does not connect to any LinkedIn account. It processes the text you enter.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: No. The agent runs on your computer and uses no platform session. A proxy is not required.
Q: What account or subscription do I need? A: None for this agent. It works on text input only. If you scrape headlines with a separate TexAu automation, a free LinkedIn account is enough for that step.
Q: Does the automation dedupe repeated runs? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same headline.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Does the agent rewrite or improve my headline? A: No. It returns a cleaned, standardized version of the text you enter. It does not write new copy.
Q: Where does the headline text come from? A: Scrape profiles with a TexAu LinkedIn scraper first. Then run this agent with that CSV and map the headline column to its input.
Troubleshooting#
The output field is empty. The agent did not parse the input. Shorten the input to one value and run again.
The output looks wrong for my input. Check the input format. The agent expects one value per run, for example one company name or one headline.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
