Why this automation is useful#

Reposters are the strongest engagers on a post. A like is passive. A repost puts the content in front of the reposter's own network. This automation turns that engagement into a list of named profiles.

Manual collection is slow. LinkedIn shows reposters one screen at a time. This automation exports up to 5000 reposters per launch into one CSV.

The export includes profile URLs and Sales Navigator URLs. You can load the CSV into a CRM or an outreach tool. You can filter by name or company before you reach out.

Use cases#

  1. Build a warm lead list from a competitor's viral post. Export everyone who reposted a competitor's launch post. Load the CSV into your cold outreach tool. Reference the post in your first line to lift reply rates.
  2. Turn your own reposters into advocates. Export the reposters of your best posts. Send each one a thank-you message. Track how many become repeat amplifiers over the next quarter.
  3. Give agency clients proof of amplification. Export reposters after each client campaign. Show which profiles and companies spread the content. Add the list to the monthly report as a deliverable.
  4. Route buying signals to sales. Watch for employees of target accounts in the reposters list. When a target-account employee reposts your content, assign an SDR to follow up within 24 hours.
  5. Map the amplifiers in a niche. Export reposters from five to ten top posts by industry thought leaders. Rank profiles by how often they appear. Pitch the frequent amplifiers on your product or a collaboration.
  6. Recruit distribution partners for a launch. Export the reposters of posts about a competitor product. Contact the people who amplified that content. Offer them early access or a partner deal before your launch.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Reposters Export in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Paste the full LinkedIn post URL into the input field.
  4. Set the extract limit. The maximum is 5000 profiles per launch.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active LinkedIn session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily in the same browser during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation.
  • The extract limit caps at 5000 reposter profiles per launch.
  • The automation needs an active LinkedIn session. Connect your account first.
  • LinkedIn hides some reposters based on their privacy settings. The export can only include profiles visible to your account.
  • LinkedIn can change the post page layout. A layout change can affect extraction until TexAu updates the automation.

FAQ#

Q: How many times can I run this automation per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day. Each execution can extract up to 5000 reposters.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account if I use this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed safe usage levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits to reduce risk.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. A Sales Navigator subscription is not required.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do my results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can I export reposters from a company page post? A: Yes. Paste the post URL from the company page. Reposts made by company pages appear in the company columns of the CSV.

Q: Why is my reposter count lower than the count on the post? A: LinkedIn hides some reposters based on privacy settings. The automation can only extract profiles visible to your account.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
