Why this automation is useful#

Post reactions are a public engagement signal. People who like a post about a topic show interest in that topic. The export turns that signal into a contact list.

Manual collection means scrolling the reactions list and copying names one by one. The automation extracts up to 2500 profiles in one launch.

The reaction type field separates a plain Like from a Love or a Curious. The connection degree field shows who sits inside your network. Both fields help you rank the warmest engagers first.

Use cases#

  1. Export everyone who liked a competitor's launch post. Filter the CSV to 2nd and 3rd degree connections. Message these people with a comparison offer. This is a direct competitive-displacement play.
  2. Warm up leads before a cold sequence. A sales team exports the likers of its own posts. These people already know the brand. Connection requests to this group earn higher acceptance than cold requests.
  3. Build a lookalike prospect list from one viral post. Take a top-performing industry post and export its likers. Filter by job title to match your buyer persona. Load the matching profiles into your outreach tool as a fresh list.
  4. Find repeat engagers on a founder's content. A business owner exports likers of the founder's posts over several weeks. Repeat likers get a direct message with an offer. Repeat engagement is a strong buying signal.
  5. Source candidates from hiring-content engagement. A recruiter exports likers of "we are hiring" posts in a niche. Job seekers often engage with these posts. Contact the engagers with the open role.
  6. Recover event leads for a client. An agency exports likers of a client's event announcement post. Cross-reference the list with the registration list. Send the non-registered likers an invite with the signup link.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Post Likers Export in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the LinkedIn post URL. Copy the full URL from the post page.
  4. Set the extract limit. The maximum is 2500 profiles per launch.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active LinkedIn session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 10 executions per day for this automation.
  • Maximum 2500 likers per launch.
  • The export covers the reactions LinkedIn shows to your account. Restricted posts return fewer profiles.
  • The total reactions count can exceed the number of profiles LinkedIn lets you open.
  • LinkedIn can change the post page structure. Some fields can come back empty after a platform change.

FAQ#

Q: How many posts can I export per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 10 executions per day. Each execution extracts up to 2500 likers from one post.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for exporting likers? A: Yes, if you exceed the limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default daily limit to reduce risk.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. A premium or Sales Navigator subscription is not required.

Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Does the export include commenters? A: No. This automation exports reactions only. Use the LinkedIn Comments Scraper for comment data.

Q: Can I export likers of someone else's post? A: Yes. Any public post URL works as input.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
