Why this automation is useful#
Pending invitations pile up in the LinkedIn interface. Reviewing them one screen at a time takes time. This automation writes the full list to a CSV file in one run.
The CSV contains the job title, company, and headline of each sender. You can sort the list and decide whom to accept first. The Message column shows the note when the sender wrote one.
The Invitation Date column shows how old each request is. Old invitations from relevant contacts are easy wins for your network.
Use cases#
- Mine inbound invitations for warm leads. Export your pending invitations and filter the CSV by job title. Accept the profiles that match your ideal customer profile. Send them a message on the same day.
- Reply to personalized invitations first. Filter for Custom Message = YES in the CSV. These senders made an effort. Read the Message column and reply with a personal answer.
- Run a weekly network review as a founder. Export the list every week. Accept relevant contacts and ignore the rest. A clean pending list keeps your network relevant.
- Triage invitations on managed client accounts. Agencies can run the export on each managed account. Sort the CSV by company and headline. Present the shortlist to the client for approval before accepting.
- Clear out stale invitations. Sort the CSV by Invitation Date. Old invitations from irrelevant profiles are safe to ignore. Focus your accepts on recent and relevant requests.

FAQ#
Q: How many exports can I run per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day for this automation.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed the platform rate limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. Sales Navigator is not required for this automation.
Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Does this automation accept the invitations? A: No. It only extracts the list of pending invitations. You accept or reject each invitation on LinkedIn.
Q: Can I see the note a sender added to the invitation? A: Yes. The Custom Message column shows YES when the sender added a note. The Message column contains the note text.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.
The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
