Why this automation is useful#

Unanswered requests pile up over time. LinkedIn can restrict accounts that keep too many open invitations. The export shows exactly who has not answered and when you invited them.

The invitation date field supports sorting. Sort by date to find stale requests that need a withdrawal.

The message content field shows which pitch you sent with each request. This stops you from sending the same angle twice to the same person.

Use cases#

  1. Clean up stale invitations. Export the pending list and sort by invitation date. Withdraw the old requests on LinkedIn, for example anything older than 30 days. A clean pending list keeps new outreach unblocked.
  2. Sync pending requests to the CRM. A sales team exports the list every week. Match profile URLs against CRM contacts. Move unanswered prospects to a different channel, for example cold email.
  3. Audit connection campaigns for clients. An agency runs invitation campaigns for several clients. The export proves which invitations went out and when. Attach the CSV to client reports as the audit trail.
  4. Avoid duplicate outreach. Before a new campaign, export the pending list. Remove those profiles from the new target list. This stops repeat invitations that annoy prospects and hurt acceptance rates.
  5. Recover prospects who never saw the invite. Filter the CSV by the Unseen flag. An unseen invitation means the recipient never noticed it. Move those prospects to a different touchpoint, for example a comment on their posts.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Sent Request Extractor in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Run the automation. This automation takes no inputs.
  4. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active LinkedIn session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day for this automation.
  • The export covers pending sent invitations only. Accepted and withdrawn requests do not appear.
  • The automation exports data only. It does not withdraw invitations. Withdraw requests on LinkedIn.
  • LinkedIn can change the invitations page structure. Some fields can come back empty after a platform change.

FAQ#

Q: How many times can I run this per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 40 executions per day. Each execution exports your current pending sent invitations.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for exporting sent requests? A: Yes, if you exceed the limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default daily limit to reduce risk.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. A premium or Sales Navigator subscription is not required.

Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs. The list changes as LinkedIn accepts or removes requests. Export on a schedule to track the changes.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can I withdraw invitations with this automation? A: No. The extractor exports the list only. Withdraw invitations directly on LinkedIn.

Q: Does the export include accepted requests? A: No. Accepted requests become connections and leave the pending list. Use the LinkedIn Connections Export for your full connection list.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
