The export also includes profile images, account flags, and account stats. Account flags cover default profile, paid member, blue badge, NFT avatar, protected, possibly sensitive, and phone verification status. Account stats cover account date, favourites count, following count, media count, listed count, and location. The export also includes the retweets, Super Follow, can tag media, and custom timelines flags.

Why this automation is useful#

Consistent posting keeps a X (Twitter) account visible. Manual posting every day takes discipline and time. This automation publishes posts from a prepared list and logs each Post URL. You keep a record of every published post.

Batch work also helps agencies. Prepare a month of client posts in one session. The CSV gives the client a publishing record with dates and links.

Use cases#

  1. Daily founder posts. Prepare 20 posts in a CSV. Publish one per day. Stay visible without opening the app every morning.
  2. Repurpose blog content. Turn each new article into three posts with different angles. Include the article link in each post. Track clicks from each Post URL.
  3. Client content calendar for agencies. Queue a month of approved client posts in one session. Export the CSV as the publishing record. Attach it to the monthly report.
  4. Launch countdown. Schedule teaser posts for the week before a product launch. Repeat the launch link in each post. Build clicks before launch day.
  5. Hiring posts. Publish the open role every week with the application link. Share the Post URL with the hiring team for internal promotion.
  6. Event live coverage. Post key takeaways during a webinar or a conference talk. Link each post to the registration page.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your X (Twitter) account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Twitter Auto Post in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the Message content. Free accounts are limited to 280 characters per post.
  4. Select the Sharing Permission. The default is Everyone.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The inputs contain no media field. The automation publishes text posts. The automation uses your active session. Do not use the account heavily in the browser during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • The action happens under your name and is visible to others. Review the inputs before you run the automation.
  • TexAu sets a default limit of 1200 executions per day and 50 executions per hour for this automation.
  • A connected X (Twitter) session is required.
  • The automation publishes text only. The inputs include no media field.
  • Identical repeated posts can trigger platform spam filters. Vary the message text.

FAQ#

Q: How many posts can I publish per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 1200 executions per day and 50 executions per hour. Platform posting limits still apply.

Q: Can X (Twitter) restrict my account for auto posting? A: Yes, if you exceed limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What account do I need? A: A free X (Twitter) account is enough. No paid subscription is required.

Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can I post images or video? A: No. The automation accepts message text only.

Q: How long can a post be? A: Free accounts are limited to 280 characters per post. Paid X (Twitter) subscriptions allow longer posts.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.

The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
