The export also includes candidate detail fields. These cover industry, job title, job description, headline, position tenure, candidate skills, job country code, and job location area. Company fields cover the LinkedIn company URL, company ID, logo, banner, industries, and HQ country. Profile flags cover premium, anonymized, hidden candidate, and rejectable status. The export also contains past company entries 1 to 9 (company name, LinkedIn URL, industries, role, tenure). It also contains education entries 1 to 6 (school name, degree name, school description, school LinkedIn URL, study period).
This table lists the main outputs. A real run returns more columns, about 118 in total. For example: "Followers Count", "Candidate Skills" and "Industry".
Why this automation is useful#
A Recruiter Lite search result stays locked inside LinkedIn. This automation moves the full result set into a CSV on your computer. You get names, titles, companies, skills, role history, and education for up to 2500 candidates per search.
The CSV feeds the rest of your recruiting stack. You can filter candidates in a spreadsheet, load them into an ATS, or dedupe against past exports. Agencies can split one export across several recruiters.
Use cases#
- Build a shortlist for a retained search. Run a filtered Recruiter Lite search for the role. Export up to 2500 candidates and rank them by years of experience and skills. Present the top 20 to the client within days of kickoff.
- Split one market across an agency team. Export the full candidate pool for a niche role. Assign rows to each recruiter on the team. Track outreach per recruiter in a shared sheet and measure submittals per week.
- Fill contract roles fast for a staffing firm. Filter the export for Open to Work candidates. Message those candidates first because they signal availability. Measure time from search export to first placement.
- Map a competitor's engineering org for a founder. Search for engineers at one competitor company. Export the list with current company, tenure, and past companies. Prioritize candidates with two-plus years of tenure for outreach.
- Source full-market candidate slates for clients. Build searches per location and school. Export and combine the CSVs, then dedupe on Profile ID. Deliver a slate that covers the full market, not one network.
- Feed a freelance recruiter's ATS. Export each new search weekly. Load the CSV into your ATS or CRM as new leads. Tag rows by search URL so every candidate traces back to a source search.
- Advise clients on where to open a role. Export the same search per country with location filters. Compare skills and experience per region in the CSV. Recommend the region with the deepest candidate pool.

FAQ#
Q: How many candidates can I export per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply. Each search can return a maximum of 2500 candidates.
Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account? A: Yes, if you exceed LinkedIn limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep your export volumes moderate.
Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.
Q: What subscription do I need? A: You must have an active LinkedIn Recruiter Lite subscription. The search URL comes from your Recruiter Lite account.
Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.
Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.
Q: Why do some rows have empty fields? A: Some candidates are anonymized or hidden in Recruiter Lite. These profiles show reduced data in the export.
Q: Can I export more than 2500 candidates from one market? A: Not from one search. Split the market into several searches by location or seniority and export each search.
Troubleshooting#
The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.
The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.
The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.
The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.
The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
