Why this automation is useful#

A channel's video list is its full content track record. Reading it by hand means scrolling and copying for hours.

This automation exports up to 150 videos per launch with views and release dates attached. The subscriber count sits in the same row as each video, so you can compare views against channel size.

The RSS feed URL supports monitoring outside the app. The keywords column shows the tags the channel targets.

Use cases#

  1. Monitor a competitor's full content output. Export the competitor's latest 150 videos each month. Compare topics, lengths, and views against your own catalog. Adjust your content plan to the gaps you find.
  2. Vet an influencer before a sponsorship. Export the creator's recent videos. Check views consistency across the last 20 uploads. Sign only when the floor, not the peak, matches your budget.
  3. Find a channel's winning formats. Export the catalog and sort by views count. Group the top rows by title pattern or length. Copy the winning format for your own channel or a client.
  4. Audit a client channel as a freelancer. Export the client's videos and rank them by views. Identify weak titles on strong topics. Pitch a title-and-thumbnail optimization package with the audit attached.
  5. Spot posting cadence problems. Export the channel and read the release date column. Flag channels that stopped publishing in the last 60 days. Prioritize active channels for partnerships.
  6. Build a niche benchmark report for an agency client. Export five competitor channels. Compare views per subscriber across the set. Show the client which competitor performs above its size.

How to use it#

  1. Open YouTube Channel Videos Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
  2. Enter the channel URL. Sample value: https://www.youtube.com/@billgates.
  3. Set the extract limit. Enter a number. The maximum is 150 videos per launch.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation reads public YouTube data. No account connection is needed. The extract limit is optional.

Limits and limitations#

  • This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply.
  • Maximum 150 videos per launch.
  • The Video Description field is no longer available. YouTube removed description snippets from the channel grid card view.
  • The automation reads public channel and video data only.
  • A field can be empty when the channel does not show it publicly.

FAQ#

Q: How many videos can I export per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Each launch returns at most 150 videos. High-volume runs can still hit YouTube rate limits.

Q: Can YouTube block me for scraping a channel? A: No account is connected, so your YouTube account is not at risk. High-volume runs from one network connection can hit temporary YouTube rate limits. TexAu adds random delays between requests.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: Do I need a YouTube account or a paid subscription? A: No. The channel and video data this automation reads is public on YouTube. No account connection is needed.

Q: Does the automation dedupe results? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Why is the Video Description column empty? A: YouTube removed description snippets from the channel grid card view. This field is no longer available.

Q: Does the export include the channel profile too? A: Yes. Each row repeats the channel fields, for example title, subscriber count, and verification status, next to the video fields.

Troubleshooting#

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

Some fields are empty in the CSV. YouTube does not publish every field for every video or channel. Private, deleted, or region-locked videos return fewer fields.

The CSV has fewer results than my extract limit. YouTube stopped returning results for this input. Lower the extract limit or change the search input.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
