Why this automation is useful#

Company pages grow followers when employees invite their own networks. LinkedIn gives page admins an invite feature for first-degree connections. Inviting a full network by hand takes hours of clicking.

This automation sends the invitation for one connection per run. The CSV records whether LinkedIn allowed the invitation and the result message.

Followers gained through invitations see the page's posts in their feed. This builds an owned audience for product updates, job posts, and case studies.

Use cases#

  1. Turn a founder's network into page followers. After each conference, invite every new first-degree connection to follow the company page. Fresh connections accept at higher rates than old ones. The page gains followers while the relationship is warm.
  2. Sell follower growth as an agency service. Invite the client's first-degree network to the client's page in weekly batches. Report the Allowed and Message columns per connection. Show follower count change in your monthly report.
  3. Keep new customers close after onboarding. Invite each new champion to follow the page after their first month. They see product updates without another email sequence.
  4. Grow a freelance studio page. Invite past clients and collaborators to follow your page. Their engagement with your posts spreads your work to their networks.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Company Follow Inviter in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the profile URL of a first-degree connection. Then enter the company page URL.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

If the profile is not a first-degree connection, the invitation fails and the Allowed output shows NO.

Limits and limitations#

  • This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply.
  • The invited profile must be a first-degree connection.
  • You must have permission to invite followers on the company page. LinkedIn grants this permission to page admins.
  • LinkedIn applies its own invitation quota for each company page. The quota resets on LinkedIn's schedule.
  • The automation uses your active LinkedIn session.

FAQ#

Q: How many invitations can I send per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply. LinkedIn also applies its own invitation quota per company page.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for mass invitations? A: Yes, if you exceed normal activity levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Stay within normal daily activity.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. You also need invite permission on the company page. Page admins have this permission.

Q: Does the automation dedupe repeated runs? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same profile and page pair.

Q: Where do results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can I invite a second-degree connection? A: No. The profile must be a first-degree connection. The Allowed output shows NO when LinkedIn refuses the invitation.

Q: Does the invitee get a notification? A: Yes. LinkedIn sends a standard page follow invitation. The person can accept or ignore it.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The action did not appear on the platform. Check the run status in the History section. If the run failed, reconnect the account and run again.

The automation skipped my input. TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. A second run of the same input does not repeat the action.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
