Activity and network fields cover the last touchpoint date, connection degree, connections counts, shared connections, lists count, notes count, and skills. Past company entries 1 to 10 include the past company name, job title, company URLs, and job tenure. School entries 1 to 5 include the school name, school ID, field of study, school URL, and study years. Volunteering entries 1 to 5 include the cause, organization, role, and description.

This table lists the main outputs. A real run returns more columns, about 182 in total. For example: "Revenue", "Growth % 1Y" and "Company Website".

Why this automation is useful#

Manual lead research means opening many tabs per profile. This automation reads the whole lead page in one run. One CSV row holds the person, the job, the company, and the contact data.

The flags save real money and time. The Free InMail column marks open profiles that receive InMail without a credit. The New Position column marks people in a role for under 90 days.

The history columns feed personalization. Past companies, schools, and volunteering give reps a concrete first line. A relevant opener lifts the reply rate of every follow-up message.

Use cases#

  1. Deliver enriched lead files to clients. Agencies can scrape the saved lead list of a client. The CSV adds title, company, tenure, and contact columns. Load it into the client CRM as the enrichment layer.
  2. Run pre-call research at scale. Sales reps can scrape every lead before a call block. The headline and the past companies feed the opening line. Preparation drops to minutes per day.
  3. Target executives who are new in role. Filter the CSV on the New Position column. New executives review vendors in their first quarter. Message them first and track meetings booked.
  4. Save InMail credits on open profiles. Freelancers can sort by the Free InMail column. Message the open profiles first. Credits stay available for the locked high-value leads.
  5. Vet hires and partners. Business owners can read the full work history, the education, and the skills. Tenure per role shows stability. The CSV beats a stack of open tabs.
  6. Source candidates with education data. Recruiting agencies can filter on school, field of study, and skills. Build shortlists per role from one export. Share the CSV with the client for review.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open Sales Navigator Lead Scraper in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter the Sales Navigator profile URL. Copy it from the address bar of the lead page.
  4. Run the automation.
  5. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

The automation uses your active session. Do not browse LinkedIn heavily during the run.

Limits and limitations#

  • TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation.
  • You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. A free LinkedIn account is not enough.
  • The automation reads data visible to your account. Private profile data is not available.
  • Contact fields stay empty when the person does not share that data on the profile.
  • Revenue values are LinkedIn estimates. They are not verified financial data.
  • LinkedIn can change its page structure. A run can fail after such a platform change.

FAQ#

Q: How many profiles can I scrape per day? A: TexAu sets a default limit of 100 executions per day for this automation. One execution scrapes one profile.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account for using this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed normal usage limits. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep to the default limits.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What subscription do I need? A: You need an active Sales Navigator subscription. The input is a Sales Navigator lead page URL.

Q: Why are the email and phone columns empty for most profiles? A: The automation extracts only what the profile shares with your account. Most profiles do not publish contact data. Empty cells are normal.

Q: What do the Locked and credits columns mean? A: Some profiles cost 1 InMail credit to open. The credits column shows how many of these credits remain on your account.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do the results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before the run completes. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
