Why this automation is useful#

LinkedIn events gather your exact buyers in one place. A keyword search returns upcoming events with named hosts and attendee counts. This automation turns that search into a spreadsheet.

Manual event research is slow. Search results load page by page. This automation exports up to 1000 events per search URL into one CSV.

The export gives you the event URL, host names, and attendee count for each event. You can rank events by audience size. You can pick the events worth your time before you register.

Use cases#

  1. Fill your pipeline from niche events. Search a keyword your buyers care about, for example "CyberSecurity". Export the matching events. Register for the events with the highest attendee counts and network in the event comments.
  2. Build a speaking-opportunity pipeline for a founder. Export events in the founder's niche. Sort by attendee count. Pitch the hosts of the ten largest events on a guest slot or a co-hosted session.
  3. Find sponsorship targets for an agency client. Export events that match the client's market. Deliver a ranked list with dates, hosts, and audience sizes. The client picks two or three events to sponsor each quarter.
  4. Time your outreach around events your buyers attend. Export events for your market each month. Reference the event in your connection requests to hosts and active commenters. The shared context gives prospects a reason to accept.
  5. Monitor competing events in your category. Run the same keyword each month. Track new events, dates, and attendee counts in a sheet. Adjust your own event calendar when a competing event grows.
  6. Recruit partners for a community or podcast. Export events in your niche. The Host Full Name column gives you named organizers. Contact the hosts with a partnership or a guest proposal.

How to use it#

  1. Connect your LinkedIn account with the TexAu browser extension.
  2. Open LinkedIn Event Search Export in the TexAu Desktop app.
  3. Enter a keyword or paste a LinkedIn event search URL.
  4. Set the extract limit. The maximum is 1000 events per search URL.
  5. Run the automation.
  6. Open the CSV in your export folder when the run ends.

To build a search URL, run an event search on LinkedIn with your filters. Then copy the URL from the address bar.

Limits and limitations#

  • This automation has no built-in execution limit. Your account rate limits still apply.
  • The extract limit caps at 1000 events per search URL.
  • The automation needs an active LinkedIn session. Connect your account first.
  • The search returns upcoming events. Past events do not appear in the results.
  • The export includes event details and attendee counts. It does not include the attendee profiles.
  • LinkedIn can change the search page layout. A layout change can affect extraction until TexAu updates the automation.

FAQ#

Q: How many events can I export per day? A: This automation has no built-in execution limit. Each launch can extract up to 1000 events per search URL. Your account rate limits still apply.

Q: Can LinkedIn restrict my account if I use this automation? A: Yes, if you exceed safe usage levels. TexAu adds random delays between actions. Keep your runs moderate even without a built-in limit.

Q: Do I need a proxy? A: A proxy is not required for one account. Use one proxy per account when you run many accounts.

Q: What LinkedIn account do I need? A: A free LinkedIn account is enough. Event search works on a standard account.

Q: Does the automation remove duplicates? A: TexAu dedupes repeated runs of the same input. Keep your CSVs clean by not re-running the same input.

Q: Where do my results go? A: Results save as a CSV in your export folder. You can also find past runs in the History section of the app.

Q: Can I use a filtered LinkedIn search instead of a keyword? A: Yes. Run your filtered event search on LinkedIn. Copy the URL from the address bar. Paste it into the input field.

Q: Does the export include the attendee list? A: No. The export includes event details and the attendee count. It does not include the attendee profiles.

Troubleshooting#

The automation asks me to connect the account again. The platform session expired. Reconnect the account with the TexAu browser extension. See Connect accounts with the TexAu browser extension.

The run fails with an invalid URL error. Copy the URL exactly as the Inputs table shows. The automation checks the URL format before it runs.

The CSV has fewer results than expected. The platform shows less data to your account than the total count suggests. Private or restricted profiles do not appear. This is normal platform behavior.

The automation stops before it reaches my extract limit. You reached a rate limit window. Wait for the window to reset, then run the automation again. See Manage rate limits.

The same run fails several times. Note the exact error message from the app. Contact TexAu support and include this message and the automation name.
